New Names

You give us new names and we are due for a new name.  The very land needs a new name, our very hearts long for newness.  Birth our new name out of our experience of you. Birth it out of our experience of you we collectively have together.   May it be one that reflects your very presence to us and our presence to each other.  May it be one that awakens us every time to the God who makes all things new.  Lead us through that path that will lead us to our new name.  Although I’m not sure it won’t be without hardship.  But I am sure you will be there with us.
